Situational Awareness Tool

screen shot of SATThe Situational Awareness Tool (SAT) reveals the high-level status of all MTFs within the area of responsibility (AOR). Status information includes MTF capability levels, resource shortfalls (blood and Class VIII supplies), and medical surveillance alerts. The SAT provides map-based and tabular displays and allows the user to retrieve specific details for each MTF.

Medical Readiness Tool

screen shot of MRTThe Medical Readiness Tool (MRT) provides medical planners and commanders with predictive assessments of the medical readiness of units, departments, and individuals. The MRT draws data from multiple sources provide rapid visualization of Individual Medical Readiness Indicators (IMRIs). The tool also captures and stores reason codes when IMR requirements are deferred. Users can perform future analyses of IMR-related practices to support updates to policy or doctrine.

Casualty Tracking Tool

screen shot of CTTThe Casualty Tracking Tool (CTT) displays input from the Tactical Medical Coordination System (TacMedCS). TacMedCS employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to track a casualty from the point of initial care through all levels of medical care. Casualty information is forwarded from the field hand-held unit or MTF laptop program to a centralized database. This data push can be accomplished via wireless communication, TCP/IP or a secure, short-burst satellite data path. Data can then be displayed in the Situational Awareness Tool to provide medical and command personnel with near real-time casualty status and location information, providing them with enhanced situational awareness and increased casualty accountability.
