ScenPro has been involved in developing Medical Command and Control (C2) systems for many years. These systems distill raw data into usable information to help in assessing the medical situation, including Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) status, blood management, patient movement, and medical logistics.
ScenPro, in collaboration with the Office of Naval Operations (OPNAV 931), Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL), has developed the Force Medical Tool Set (ForceMed). ForceMed is an integrated suite of web-based modules that provide enhanced medical situational awareness and decision making. The ForceMed tool set includes the following modules:
- Situational Awareness Tool (SAT): Provides a high-level status of all Medical Treatment Facilities within the area of responsibility (AOR).
- Medical Readiness Tool (MRT): Provides medical planners and commanders with predictive assessments of the medical readiness of units, departments, and individuals.
- Casualty Tracking Tool (CTT): Displays information collected using the Tactical Medical Coordination System (TacMedCS). TacMedCS employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to track a casualty from the point of initial care through all levels of medical care.
- Medical Surveillance (Future Capability): Will incorporate medical surveillance algorithms based on the Medical Data Surveillance System (MDSS).
